What an IndusInd e-statement PDF looks like
IndusInd Bank statements downloaded from NetBanking follow a standard layout. The header carries the account details; the body is a transaction table:
- Account number — a 12-digit number (e.g. 1001…), shown with the branch and statement period in the header.
- Transaction table — Date, Particulars, Withdrawal, Deposit, Debit, Balance, with dates in dd/MM/yyyy.
- No password — the IndusInd statement we tested opened directly with no encryption.
Withdrawal and Deposit columns — plus a Debit column
IndusInd is one of the banks whose statements mix column styles:
- Both Withdrawal/Deposit and Debit appear. The tested statement carried Withdrawal and Deposit headers alongside a Debit column. The converter reads the actual headers, so amounts land on the right side regardless of which label the bank uses.
- Long statements are normal. The tested file ran to ten pages. The converter processes long statements page by page.
- Running balance per row. Every transaction carries a balance — when you preview the conversion, the last balance should match the statement's closing figure.
UPI and IMPS dominate the Particulars
The tested statement's entries were mostly UPI and IMPS, each leading with the payment type — a reliable basis for ledger mapping in Tally.
