What an IDBI e-statement PDF looks like

IDBI Bank statements downloaded from NetBanking follow a standard layout. The header carries the account details; the body is a transaction table:

  • Account details — customer name, branch and statement period in the header; dates in dd/MM/yyyy format.
  • Transaction table — Date, Transaction Date, Value Date, Description, Cheque/Ref No., Debit, Credit, Balance.
  • No password — the IDBI statement we tested opened directly with no encryption.
The IDBI quirk

Three date columns — and ECS entries still around

Two IDBI-specific details worth knowing before you convert:

  • Date, Transaction Date and Value Date. IDBI is one of the few banks that prints all three. Book the voucher on the transaction date; the value date matters only if you reconcile against the bank's clearing cycle.
  • ECS debits still appear. The tested file carried ECS/… entries alongside NEFT, RTGS and UPI — recurring payments convert exactly like any other row.

Check the running balance

IDBI prints a balance after every row. When you preview the conversion, the last balance should match the statement's closing figure — if it does, no row was dropped or duplicated.

How it works

Convert an IDBI statement in three steps

Upload your IDBI statement PDF

Download the statement from IDBI Bank NetBanking, then upload it. The tested file opened directly — no password needed.

Check the dates, preview the rows

IDBI prints transaction and value dates on the same row. The converter books the transaction date and keeps the value date visible for reconciliation.

Download Tally XML

Export a Tally-ready XML file and import it via Gateway of Tally → Import Data → Vouchers. CSV export is included too.

This works for savings and current account statements from IDBI Bank. If your bank isn't IDBI, the same flow covers 21 other tested Indian banks — see the full converter.

After conversion
