A CSV that behaves like a spreadsheet
TallyPort exports your statement as a CSV file with clean columns — Date, Narration, Debit, Credit, Balance — one row per transaction. Open it in Excel, WPS Office or Google Sheets and you can filter, pivot and chart immediately:
- Double-click the CSV and Excel opens it with the columns already in order.
- Google Sheets: File → Import → Upload, or just open the CSV from Drive.
- Need a .xlsx workbook? Save As in Excel — the data is untouched, only the container changes.
An honest scope note
This converts your statement into spreadsheet-ready rows — it doesn't build styled multi-sheet Excel workbooks with formulas and charts. If you want a formatted, bank-branded workbook, the CSV is the clean starting point most firms build on.
When a spreadsheet beats a PDF
A statement PDF is a dead document. The same rows as a spreadsheet become workable data for:
- MIS and cash-flow summaries — sum debits and credits by month with pivot tables.
- GST and audit workpapers — filter vendor payments and UPI expenses by narration keyword.
- Reconciliation checks — compare the closing balance against your books in one formula.
- Data analysis — everything Excel can do with a clean table of transactions.

Every transaction is parsed into Date, Narration, Debit, Credit and Balance columns. Review and edit before you download.

Download a CSV that opens directly in Excel, WPS or Google Sheets — double-click it and you're in a spreadsheet. The Tally XML comes along too.

Your statements, deleted after 7 days
Bank statements are sensitive files, so the defaults are strict:
- Uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Statement files are automatically deleted from our servers after 7 days.
- Your data is never shared, sold, or used for model training.
