What a Bank of Maharashtra e-statement PDF looks like
Bank of Maharashtra statements downloaded from NetBanking follow a consistent layout. The header carries the account details; the body is a transaction table:
- Account number — an 11-digit number (e.g. 6034…), shown with the branch, IFSC and statement period in the header.
- Transaction table — Date, Particulars, Cheque, Withdrawal/Deposit, Balance, with dates in dd/MM/yyyy.
- No password — the BoM statements we tested opened directly with no encryption.
11-digit accounts — the shortest in the tested set
Two Bank of Maharashtra details that matter when you're converting:
- Short account numbers. At 11 digits, BoM accounts are shorter than most private banks' 14–15 digits. The header shows it clearly — and the converter reads the transaction table, so the digit count never matters for extraction.
- Particulars column. BoM labels its description column Particulars, and rows lead with the payment type (UPI/…, NEFT/…, IMPS/…, ATM/…) — handy for ledger mapping.
- Closing balance rows. BoM prints a closing balance after the transactions; match it against the last converted row as a sanity check.
